–Michael Cohen’s testimony just confirms what we already suspect about Donald Trump: He’s a low-life scum bag.
–The kerfuffle over Cohen’s veracity reminds me of Bob Arum, the long-time boxing promoter. He once insisted a boxer in one of his matches was healthy, until he said the guy was fully recovered from his injury. When a reporter pointed out the contradiction, Arum said: “Yesterday I was lying, but today I’m telling the truth.”
–Trump tried to convince Forbes magazine he was worth $9 billion, but told the IRS he was worth $4.5 billion. I think it’s time to examine his tax returns.
–Just asking: Is it cultural appropriation if black actors play historical white characters in the musical “Hamilton”? You can bet there would be plenty of protests if white actors played black characters in a musical about Nat Turner or Dred Scott.
–All of the underwhelming Democratic candidates for president point to a stalemate at the national convention. That’s when Gavin Newsom can step forward as the unity candidate.
Be nice to Trump George.
